My favorite flowers to paint are hydrangeas. In my front garden I have hydrangeas of all colors and the blue hydrangeas steal the show! To paint these blue blossoms was a delight. Layers and layers of shades of blue and deep greens for foliage with expressive strokes. This painting is a delight for the eye, a slice of summer joy.
